[New Product] NACHI Non-Colliding Collaborative Robot MZS05
Fujikoshi Corporation
The compact collaborative robot MZS05 maintains productivity with high speed and high precision while incorporating sensors that detect human proximity, stopping before a collision occurs.
Until now, collaborative robots generally stopped when they came into contact with a person, which posed potential risks of injury depending on the robot's speed, its hands, and the workpiece being handled. As a result, there remain concerns about worker contact and constraints due to safety regulations within user environments, necessitating a high level of safety for the introduction and proliferation of collaborative robots. We are pleased to announce the "MZS05," a compact collaborative robot from NACHI that maintains the productivity of conventional models while incorporating sensors to detect human proximity and stop before a collision occurs. With significantly improved safety performance compared to traditional collaborative robots, the potential applications for these robots are undoubtedly expanding. We encourage you to consider this for your automation needs.

basic information
(1) Features ● Excellent Safety Performance Multiple sensors are built into the front of the robot's arm to detect the approach of people and obstacles. The robot will stop before a collision occurs, regardless of the direction from which the operator approaches, thereby avoiding the danger of collision. Additionally, once the detected obstacle is removed, the robot resumes operation without any additional action required. This alleviates the operator's anxiety and prevents a decrease in productivity. - Sensing distance: Deceleration within 5,000mm (configurable) - Stop within 500mm ● Top-Class Speed and Precision in Collaborative Robots Achieving class-leading speed and precision as a compact collaborative robot, contributing to improved productivity for our customers. - Maximum speed: 1,000mm/sec (collaborative), 2,500mm/sec (non-collaborative) - Position repeatability: ±0.02mm ● Adaptable to Various Work Environments By adopting a hollow wrist structure, the need for wiring and piping on the outside of the robot body is eliminated, reducing the risk of interference with surrounding equipment. This contributes to the smartening of production lines in a wide range of manufacturing environments.
