It can be used as a replacement for the lighting of new and old fluorescence microscopes from various companies.
It is a type of ultra-high brightness LED that allows for broadband excitation (*1). It can be used as a replacement for mercury lamps and also as a substitute for single-wavelength LED lighting. The lighting unit is equipped with a silent air-cooling fan, so there is no increase in temperature. Brightness adjustment is performed with an external dedicated power supply. It can be used with modifications to the lamp house. The average lifespan of the LED is said to be about 10,000 to 30,000 hours. It can be purchased for the price of several mercury lamps. Since it uses direct current voltage instead of pulse ignition, it is gentle on the eyes and can be used without any issues for photography. * We use broadband LEDs, not single-wavelength LEDs. * The lifespan of the LEDs varies depending on usage frequency. * There are proven results for use with BV excitation, B excitation, etc. (It does not support the UV range.) * We recommend trying out a demo unit (you only need to cover the shipping cost). * The device is the part shown on the far right of the reference image.

The LED uses extremely bright ones made by CREE. The brightness is 2164 lumens at a current of 2.1A, with a maximum current of 4.8A. The dedicated power supply allows for brightness adjustment. The cable to the lighting unit can be made according to your preferences (the price will not change). The power supply comes with an LED ammeter, allowing for safe use. It can be attached to microscopes from various manufacturers, but installation may be difficult depending on the model.
