Daido University, located in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, has a Faculty of Engineering and a Faculty of Information Science, and advocates a practical learning approach. There was a demand for strengthening facilities to allow students to experience everything from design to cutting processes. ■ Product used: 3D modeling machine MDX-50 ■ Application: Education and FAB 【Challenges】 ■ It was required to provide each student with experiences from design to processing. ■ There was a shortage of practical training equipment, leading to issues with insufficient equipment due to an increase in the number of students. ■ There was an urgent need to renew facilities to create an environment where students could experience both design and manufacturing. 【Results】 ■ Ten units of Roland DG's 3D modeling machine "MDX-50" were introduced, resolving the equipment shortage issue. ■ An environment was established where students could learn the entire process from design to processing by physically creating their own designs. ■ The introduction of an auto tool changer improved work efficiency and maximized students' learning outcomes. ■ Through practical training, students' motivation increased, achieving a high employment rate. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.*
