KURODA's ball screw actuator is a single-axis unit that compactly integrates a ball screw and linear guide mechanism. By placing a sliding block within a U-shaped guide rail, it achieves a low-profile structure and compact shape, allowing for significant space savings compared to traditional table mechanisms. Additionally, the adoption of the U-shaped guide rail provides high rigidity against bending moments and deflections, making it suitable for cantilever structures despite its compact design. The linear motion component employs a Gothic arch groove shape with a four-point contact structure, achieving high precision and high rigidity.
