The "RNWF11PC" is a standalone Wi-Fi module that supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n in the 2.4GHz band and can be controlled via AT commands. It has a built-in TCP/IP protocol stack and allows the use of Socket API through UART text commands from a microcontroller.
