Achieving cost reduction and highly reliable analysis: The combination of charged particle detectors (CAD) and UV detectors allows for the simultaneous analysis of amino acids and impurities without derivatization.
This application introduces a method for the highly sensitive and robust analysis of L-aspartic acid and glycine impurities using the HPLC-UV-CAD method. The conventional derivatization methods used in amino acid analysis have faced challenges such as human error and variability in derivatization efficiency; however, this method provides a more reliable approach by detecting without derivatization. Additionally, it allows for the simultaneous analysis of amino acids and their impurities (especially organic acids) in a single chromatography run, significantly reducing analysis time and contributing to cost savings.
