Kakihara, which is sincerely committed to environmental initiatives, has developed key recycling methods and equipment in collaboration.
We would like to introduce a case where our recycling system has contributed to environmental measures. Since the resin and metal in resin-coated products are strongly bonded, they cannot be easily separated. While the metal film can be dissolved using chemicals, there are concerns about resin degradation and chemical residues, leaving challenges for recycling. Therefore, we propose our recycling system, which micro-grinds resin-coated products and separates them into resin and metal components using magnetic force, making each reusable. By recycling resin-coated products that could only be disposed of as industrial waste, we have contributed to environmental measures. [Concerns] ■ Waste from resin-coated products is generated in the market and production sites, but since resin-coated products are composite materials of metal and resin, they cannot be recycled as they are. ■ Amid urgent environmental issues, we were looking for ways to reduce the environmental impact of discarded resin-coated products. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
