The adoption of a non-moving ultrasonic sensor significantly reduces maintenance frequency.
The HD53LS series is equipped with a built-in magnetic compass and measures the following elements: (1) wind speed and direction, Cartesian coordinates U-V, and (2) instantaneous wind speed (only for HD53LS.S with RS485 Modbus-RTU output). The average values of wind speed and direction are calculated over a time range that can be set from 1 second to 10 minutes. ◎ Variations (1) HD53LS.A and HD53LS.V□: Analog output x2 (1 output each for wind speed and direction), either 4-20mA, 0-1V, 0-5V, or 0-10V (to be specified at the time of order) (2) HD53LS.S: RS485 Modbus-RTU output It is also possible to issue a traceable calibration certificate to ILAC-MRA (ACCREDIA) as an option. ■ Capable of measuring low wind speeds that are difficult for mechanical anemometers, with a built-in compass ■ Quick and easy installation on a φ40mm mast (tripod available as an option) ■ Low power consumption allows for solar panel + battery operation in remote locations ■ Networking capability via RS485 Modbus-RTU output
