[Seminar] Forestry Agency: Initiatives for "Green Growth" in Forests, Forestry, and the Wood Industry
Regarding the fiscal year 2025 budget
Our company will hold a business seminar. We are undertaking the challenging task of limiting the global average temperature rise to within 1.5°C compared to pre-industrial levels. However, in June of this year, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) issued a very serious forecast indicating an 80% probability that the temperature will temporarily exceed 1.5°C compared to the industrial revolution within the next five years. In this context, it is crucial for our country's forests, which are now reaching the utilization period of artificially planted resources cultivated after the war, to establish a cyclical use of forest resources through "cutting, using, planting, and nurturing" to contribute to carbon neutrality by 2050.
