This system is built by combining devices equipped with EnOcean wireless modules that utilize energy harvesting (environmental power generation) technology. Since it transmits signals through power generation, the transmitting devices (key sensors, motion sensors, magnetic sensors, etc.) do not require batteries or wiring, allowing for easy retrofitting with simple construction in currently used facilities. The digital sign consists of the equipment configuration "transmission device → receiver → mini PC (Windows) → display monitor." By using a GATEWAY instead of a receiver for each, it becomes possible to check usage status (or sensor status) remotely from smartphones or tablets via internet output. EnOcean wireless sensors, such as temperature and humidity sensors and CO2 sensors, cover a wide range, so by creatively placing the sensors and their installation locations, it becomes possible to operate a broad range of IoT applications, including not only usage status but also environmental management and security measures.
