The "LM2B03E-SBA" is a compact and high-performance laser methane detector that utilizes the characteristics of methane (infrared absorption spectroscopy) by absorbing laser beams of a specific wavelength (infrared). It irradiates a laser beam onto targets such as gas pipelines and the ground surface, receives the scattered light from the target, and calculates the methane column density by measuring the absorption rate. The quantity measured by the detector is the methane column density = methane concentration × thickness (unit: ppm-m).
