Evaluation of Layer Composition and Material of Food Container Packaging using FT-IR and Other Methods
Introduction to material analysis of layer composition using infrared spectroscopy and Raman analysis!
We would like to introduce the "Analysis of Food Container Packaging" conducted at Ronbic Co., Ltd. The results of cross-sectional observation using an electron microscope on food container packaging (solid roux) revealed that the structure of this food container packaging consists of 7 layers. Using micro FT-IR and micro Raman, the materials of each layer were identified. Even for thin layers (layers 3, 4, and 5) of a few micrometers, material identification is possible with micro Raman. 【Methods for Identifying Each Layer】 ■ Layers 1, 2, 6, and 7 (>20μm): Micro FT-IR method ■ Layers 3, 4, and 5 (a few μm): Micro Raman method *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
