Minimize auxiliary gas while confidently ensuring regulatory compliance!
Regulatory pressure regarding flaring is being strengthened. A properly operated flare achieves at least a 98% combustion efficiency. However, when the heating value is below 270 BTU/SCF, a 98% destruction efficiency in flaring cannot be guaranteed. In such cases, it is necessary to add auxiliary fuel (e.g., natural gas). In the case of permit review, if the heating value of the emission stream is too low and auxiliary fuel has not been added, the application will be considered disapproved. Continuous monitoring of the heating value is necessary to operate the flare properly. *For more detailed information, please refer to the attached PDF document.
