Features of the Cambrian Vision System Stable recognition of transparent and glossy workpieces without auxiliary lighting - By extracting the contours of objects with two stereo cameras, it achieves the recognition of transparent, glossy, and thin workpieces in three dimensions. - Demonstrates high stability even without structured light, infrared, or auxiliary lighting. High-speed and high-precision picking - By conducting pre-learning with 3D CAD, it achieves image processing of workpieces in about 0.3 seconds from imaging, enabling high-speed picking. - In robots equipped with the RC9 controller, by implementing functions within TwinCAT, the robot arm can accurately grasp position information linked to the shutter signal while in motion, allowing imaging without stopping the robot. This eliminates the need for downtime, resulting in reduced cycle time.
