Currently, there are three main types of deburring holders: ■ Rigid (fixed axis) mechanism Advantages: The tool is always held in a constant position, allowing the robot to achieve high machining precision. Disadvantages: It is difficult to perform flexible deburring that adapts to variations in workpiece shape or positional shifts during fixing, leading to missed spots or gouging. ■ Spring mechanism Advantages: By tilting or extending the tool's cutting edge in the "X, Y, Z" directions, flexible machining can be achieved according to the workpiece shape. Disadvantages: Gouging (overcutting) may occur due to the spring's rebound. To avoid this, it may be necessary to change the tool or holder depending on the deburring location. ■ Air float mechanism Advantages: The cutting edge tilts and extends in the "X, Y, Z" directions, generating float force (pressure) through compressed air.
