Case study of Brody disk compatibility with cellulose fibers of length 2-3mm!
We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of the "Brodie Disk" as a countermeasure for bridging in the upper hopper of a circle feeder. The customer planned to supply cellulose fibers with a length of 2-3mm using a circle feeder. They mentioned having struggled with air knockers in the past. Having experienced similar materials before, we provided a quotation based on the model, layout examples, and equipment. After the implementation, there have been no occurrences of bridging, and the system is operating smoothly. 【Case Overview】 ■ Target Material: Cellulose fibers (length 2-3mm, high moisture content) ■ Hopper Dimensions: 1200×1200 ■ Hopper Discharge Diameter: Ø300 ■ Control: 12 Brodie Disks (BD-15) controlled by a controller (C-SV6) with 6 built-in solenoid valves, sequentially aerating in pairs with a time difference. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
