Instead of gasoline, we will use butane gas to conduct tests on the adsorption and desorption performance of the canister (weight measurement) and durability tests that repeat adsorption and desorption.
A canister is a container filled with activated carbon to prevent the emission of fuel vapor gases, and it is a filter that can adsorb and release hydrocarbons (HC) vaporized from gasoline in the fuel tank and other areas. BWC stands for Butane Weight Capacity, and the BWC canister performance and durability tests use butane gas instead of gasoline to evaluate the canister's adsorption and release performance (weight measurement) as well as its durability through repeated adsorption and release cycles.
