It can detect the temperature of an object using an infrared sensor and visualize it, allowing for non-contact temperature measurement. Unlike regular cameras, it can capture images in dark places without a light source or against bright light. Because it can visualize temperature, it can quickly alert you to the occurrence of heat through alarms when temperature changes happen, making it useful for early fire detection and similar applications.
