It complies with the revised Labor Safety and Health Act (related government ordinances)*. It is now mandatory for workers who manufacture or handle chemicals to use appropriate protective equipment." The selection manual for protective equipment to prevent skin disorders issued by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare recommends using gloves that conform to standards (JIS T8116 or ASTM F739, EN ISO 374).
