From "dialysis tube" to "cross-flow ultrafiltration experiment"
This is a sister model of the "Gengorou MD." It provides a low-cost device for researchers who want to transition from experiments using dialysis membranes to ultrafiltration experiments using cross-flow (tangential flow: TFF). By combining it with optional products, automatic replenishment is also possible. If you connect your existing or commercially available ultrafiltration modules (membrane area 50–1000 cm²), you can immediately perform "purification," "fractionation," "desalting," and "concentration" processes through ultrafiltration. This device uses a diaphragm pump instead of a roller pump. The pump needs to be replaced every 3000 hours of proper use (which corresponds to about 3 years if operated 4 hours a day, 4 days a week). You can check the pump operating time with an hour meter.

basic information
- Circulation flow rate: 50-300 ml/min - Maximum operating pressure: 0.23 MPa (recommended 0.1-0.15 MPa) - Operating temperature range: 5-45°C - Power supply and power consumption: AC 100V 50W - Dimensions: W25 cm × D19 cm × H15 cm - Weight: 2.4 kg - For aqueous solutions. Small amounts of alcohol (around 20%) are acceptable. (Check the constraints of commercially available membrane modules). Hydrochloric acid solutions cannot be used as they corrode the stainless steel in contact parts.

Applications/Examples of results
1: By advancing the experiments with dialysis tubes, we can conduct ultrafiltration experiments in "cross-flow" to obtain insights on "fractionation," "desalting," and "concentration" quantitatively and quickly, starting with minimal costs. 2: It is possible to increase the amount of samples processed at one time. 3: It can be used for extraction solutions derived from natural products, purification of water-soluble synthetic polymers, desalting, and concentration experiments. 4: By using the separately sold "supplement set," it is possible to replenish the solvent in the concentrated sample solution obtained through filtration.
