Ball screw support bearing
The TAB series of bearings for ball screw support is designed to support ball screws used in various high-precision machine tools, precision measuring devices, and actuators for precision feeding, such as robots, with high precision and high speed. The retainers are made of resin, and by increasing the number of balls compared to conventional angular contact ball bearings, rigidity is enhanced. The combined bearings come with a predetermined preload, eliminating the need for complex assembly adjustments such as preload adjustment with shims or torque measurement. With a contact angle of 60 degrees, they can simultaneously and appropriately handle both radial loads and axial loads. As a result, the bearing section becomes simple and compact. The sealed types include both contact seals and non-contact seals, allowing for the selection of the appropriate type based on the application.
