The RAPIX DALI-2 Ethernet Interface (EDID) can be used as part of the RAPIX lighting control system that utilizes DALI-2 for lighting. This product provides a separated communication path between Ethernet and DALI. Control and monitoring of DALI-2 compatible lighting fixtures and emergency lighting can be performed by Ethernet-connected devices. The RAPIX DALI-2 Ethernet Interface can also expand the number of DALI lines used by the RAPIX DALI-2 zone controller. Since the zone controller can operate with up to 2 Ethernet interfaces, a single zone controller can be expanded from a 4-channel DALI line to a maximum of an 8-channel DALI line.
