We would like to introduce a case where Japan Groundwater Development Co., Ltd., which engages in snow removal projects and resource development projects, has implemented the electronic contract service "WAN-Sign." The company has many clients in the Tohoku region, particularly in Yamagata Prefecture, and has required the creation of a vast number of paper contracts almost every month. Additionally, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a need to review the system of paper contracts that required in-person attendance, and the then-president instructed the company to consider going paperless. By using the service for the exchange of purchase orders and order confirmations with clients, the working time was reduced by about half, and administrative costs, excluding labor costs, were significantly cut. Furthermore, it became easier to work remotely, allowing more time to be allocated to other tasks.
