Our company conducts trace iron analysis of water using solid-phase spectrometry, allowing for measurements with higher sensitivity than conventional spectrophotometry. The colored complex generated by the reaction between the target component and the reagent in the solution is concentrated on an ion exchange resin, and the transmitted scattered light of the solid is measured with a spectrophotometer. Typically, expensive equipment such as clean rooms or ICP mass spectrometers is required for iron quantification analysis in the order of several μg/L.
