SDS ATLAS Corporation M030 Sirhlastrain A
Fiber identification and silicone release paper quality control M030A ShirlastainA was developed to identify different fibers through simple testing.
Shirlastain was originally developed to identify different fibers through a simple test. There are types A, C, and D, and it is utilized in various applications across many fields. Shirlastain A is used to check the condition of silicone-coated paper. Silicone-coated paper is commonly used for backing sheets of adhesive seals. Shirlastain A is used to test the quality of that coating. When Shirlastain A is applied to the paper, if there are no issues after about two minutes, the entire area turns yellow. If there are pinholes or cracks, only those areas turn red. This simple testing method allows for the reliable detection of problematic silicone coatings.
