The Wyzenbeek abrasion testing machine is a four-station vibrating abrasion testing machine used to measure the abrasion resistance of materials such as fibers, fabrics, and leather.
The Wyzenbeek abrasion testing machine is a 4-station vibrating abrasion testing machine used to measure the abrasion resistance of fibers, fabrics, vinyl, leather, seams, and other materials. Each station holds the test specimen taut and applies pressure using a contoured foam pad while the specimen is abraded by an abrasive material (usually duck cloth or wire mesh screen) attached to a vibrating drum over a specified number of cycles. Each of the four stations has its own individual test specimen tension and pad pressure settings. This CE-compliant version is specially designed to meet the necessary safety and electrical requirements for compliance. This includes the selection and use of components for electrical connections, mechanical parts, and safety features. These features cover all moving parts and use a dual-action safety interlock that stops the tester when the cover is lifted, as well as a front door interlock for the lower box entrance.
