As the degree of wear increases, the following phenomena are likely to occur: - Decreased transmission efficiency: Uneven forces acting on the belt or increased slippage can reduce transmission efficiency. - Accelerated belt wear, leading to cracks and peeling, which can shorten the belt's lifespan. - Increased noise due to belt slippage and vibrations caused by variations in belt tension. If you notice any of these symptoms, it's important to perform maintenance and replacements as soon as possible. First, visually check if the belt is sinking into the grooves, if there is any heat around the pulley grooves, and if the frequency of belt replacements has increased.
