We would like to introduce a case where we achieved weight reduction by using aluminum-based materials for the base plate of a jig. In jig manufacturing, it can be said that base plates are often made from iron-based materials. However, when the size exceeds 1 meter, it becomes difficult to transport them manually. While factories equipped with cranes can handle this, it often poses a problem in terms of workability in development facilities and similar environments. Therefore, although it incurs higher costs, we propose using duralumin for the base, tailored to the specific application and environment.
