The AS-611 is an ophthalmic endoscope that allows for observation of cases and areas that were difficult to visualize during conventional microscope-assisted vitreous surgery. It is also useful for observing the condition of the posterior iris and capsule during cataract surgery. It can be used as a light guide during vitreous surgery. It is used in combination with a dedicated imaging device.
