Would you like to start zero-cost solar power, from public facilities to general businesses?
A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a long-term contract concluded between power producers and electricity buyers. With this PPA, the customers receiving the installation, whether public facilities or general companies, will be supplied with clean electricity at a stable price for 20 years. This contract not only brings economic benefits to both parties but also contributes to reducing environmental impact. Since it is a PPA structure, electricity generated from solar power will be supplied to the customers without any initial investment.

Excerpt from PVeye article: In March 2025, the supply of renewable energy power through an onsite PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) began at a sewage facility in Kashima City. The company signed an onsite PPA with Kashima City on June 20, 2024. Solar power generation equipment was installed on idle land within the sewage facility's premises, and power supply commenced in March 2025. The project was selected for a subsidy program by the Ministry of the Environment, with one-third of the eligible expenses of approximately 38.2 million yen covered by the subsidy. The PPA contract period is 20 years, with a unit price of 12.5 yen per kWh (excluding tax). The AC output of the solar power generation equipment is 304.95 kW, and the company used solar panels from Chuo Longji Green Energy and PCS from Chuo Huawei. The generated power will be consumed entirely within the facility without reverse flow, but by installing one PCS with a capacity of 4.95 kW equipped with autonomous operation functionality, part of the power can be used during outages. Kashima City expects that the procurement of renewable energy power through this onsite PPA will reduce the electricity consumption of the sewage facility by about 16% and decrease carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 143 tons annually.
