Thunderbolt 3 compatible 8-bay storage (3.5/2.5 inch HDD/SSD case)
The OWC ThunderBay 8 (hereinafter referred to as "the product") is an 8-bay external hard drive enclosure that can be connected to a computer via Thunderbolt 3. It features a case made of aluminum with excellent heat dissipation, capable of housing up to eight 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA hard drives/SSDs. Each drive can be easily installed and replaced using the included dedicated drive trays. In a striped (RAID 0) configuration with eight SSDs, it achieves high read and write speeds exceeding 2500MB/s (*), allowing for the creation of a large-capacity and high-speed storage environment.
