"BYK-1693 SD" is a highly effective and compatible powdered defoamer for hybrid systems that combine mineral-based dry mix mortars with water-based or powder dispersions. The special combination of active ingredients in the additive provides powerful and lasting defoaming properties across the entire range of applications. By reducing the air bubble content, it improves the characteristics of fresh mortar and the physical properties of the cured system. BYK-1693 SD is particularly suitable for two-component waterproof membranes.
