A microhardness tester costing less than 10 million yen (excluding tax).
Hit300 is a nanoindentation tester that focuses on the minimum necessary functions. By pressing the indenter into the sample, it is possible to obtain hardness and elastic modulus from the indentation curve of load versus penetration depth. Additionally, a DMA (Dynamic Mechanical Analysis) measurement function is included in the initial specifications, allowing for the evaluation of storage and loss modulus, as well as viscoelasticity. The unique top reference method continuously detects the sample surface, eliminating error factors caused by thermal drift, enabling measurements to start immediately without waiting for surface temperature stabilization.

Applications/Examples of results
"Evaluation testing machine as an alternative to tensile testing machines" The nanoindentation tester can solve issues such as evaluation including the substrate in tensile testing machines and the labor involved in sample preparation. Since measurements are taken at low loads, it can obtain physical property values for thin films and coatings only. Additionally, if the sample can be fixed in the holder, measurements can be taken immediately regardless of the shape. "Simple operability" The software is user-friendly with a window format, allowing users to become proficient with less than an hour of training. The software is available in Japanese. "Compact type that doesn't require a specific installation location" It is a tabletop device with an active vibration isolation stand built-in, so there are no issues finding a location to install the device. (Installation area is within 1 square meter)
