We have set up CABS, which is utilized for addressing shaft vibration and dynamic balance issues in turbo machinery (such as steam turbine generators, gas turbine generators, blowers/air compressors), for large rotating machines driven by electric motors. Bearing troubles are unavoidable to some extent, as even with well-made bearings, minor imbalances in the rotating body or misalignments during assembly can occur. If the machine is not properly balanced before use, it can lead to future problems. CABS monitors the condition of large turbo machinery and contributes to preventive maintenance. CABS-M is a condensed version that focuses solely on measuring shaft vibration and is used for dynamic balancing tasks. Electric motor-driven rotating bodies are becoming larger every day and can be utilized with various types of bearings.
