The breakout cable assembly from Volex's 800G OSFP to 2x/4x Q112 AEC features eight 100Gbps channels, each employing PAM-4 modulation for both transmission and reception directions. This breakout cable is available in configurations of 800Gbps (OSFP) to 2x 400Gbps (2x QSFP112) or 4x 200Gbps (4x QSFP112). The signal integrity, which experiences significant stress during high-speed data transmission, is enhanced by advanced DSP equalization. As a result, long-distance transmission of up to 5 meters is possible with the smallest cable size and maximum flexibility.
