A case study of smart safety proposals in the food manufacturing industry. The company was struggling with the operational burden and response associated with power outages due to regular inspections of their high-voltage receiving and transforming equipment. This time, by applying smart safety to existing equipment, they confirmed with NITE that it was possible to review safety regulations and also achieved the digital transformation and labor-saving of maintenance operations.

On the other hand, there have been difficulties in managing the workload associated with power outages due to the regular inspections of the special high-voltage receiving and transforming equipment (conducted once a year). 【Expected Benefits】 By applying smart safety to existing equipment, it becomes possible to review safety regulations (including the revision of the regular inspection cycle). *This proposal was confirmed in advance by Fuji Electric with the Independent Administrative Institution National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE).
