[Construction Example] Alumina Thermal Spraying on Induction Heated Cu Coil
The insulation spraying on the induction heating coil significantly improves maintainability and durability.
We would like to introduce a case where alumina thermal spraying was applied to induction heating type Cu coils. The customer faced a challenge where the glass tape and varnish required regular maintenance to prevent insulation failure due to their degradation from radiant heat. As a result, by performing alumina thermal spraying, the frequency of rewinding was reduced. Additionally, the improved maintainability led to increased productivity and cost reduction. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenge - Due to degradation and burning of the glass tape and varnish from radiant heat, maintainability was poor. ■Result - The frequency of rewinding was reduced by performing alumina thermal spraying. - Improved maintainability led to increased productivity and cost reduction. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
