"ViViD" is a virtual environment simulator capable of reproducing diverse conditions. By recreating various environments and scenario-based testing conditions, it allows for the repeated execution of tests that are difficult to validate in the real world. Based on the high-end game engine Unreal Engine 4, it can output high-definition visuals (images) and, through customization for each user, enables the addition of courses and vehicles, interface compatibility, and integration of existing sensor models.
