Barrier clay to prevent migration of various additives in plasticized PVC • BYK's high aspect ratio synthetic hectorite exhibits excellent barrier performance against the migration of undesirable substances such as plasticizers and hydrocarbons from PVC plastisol. • BYK's high aspect ratio synthetic hectorite minimizes the impact on the color tone and haze of the film. • BYK-3410 (silicone-free leveling and substrate wetting additive) and BYK-014 (silicone-free defoamer) enhance the barrier effect and are essential for optimal processing.
