Isolated 12-bit DA converter board with PC104 and Z80 bus.
The DAC control signal is isolated by a photocoupler, and an isolated DC-DC converter is used for the analog power supply, ensuring that the analog and digital signals are isolated. The DAC interface is serial (SPI/QSPI or MICROWIRE compatible), but it has been designed for ease of use with CPLD adoption, allowing control via port access. The DAC device mounted has a 4-channel output, so the 8CH specification board (basic configuration) implements 2 devices for a total of 16CH, while the 4-device implementation is available as an expansion option. The analog output is routed through an operational amplifier, and the output voltage range can be switched for each channel by setting the jumper pins.
