The wireless network system proposed by MicroStrain, a company of HBK, connects the outputs of various sensors such as commercially available strain gauges and thermistors to wireless nodes, transmitting that data to a base station via 2.4GHz wireless. The transmitted data is robust enough for research, experimentation, and development with a maximum sampling rate of 4000Hz, and is acquired, analyzed, and stored by a computer connected to the base station. Furthermore, the data can also be measured and stored in the cloud, allowing access for retrieval and analysis from anywhere. Being wireless, it provides a highly efficient solution that allows researchers, experimenters, and developers to focus on their work without the hassle of wiring or maintenance.

◆Wireless Node This replaces traditional wired sensors and amplifiers, connecting to a star-shaped (decentralized... where the gateway connects to each node individually in a one-to-one manner) wireless network, and supports various sensor inputs with an all-in-one design. These low-power, high-performance devices can integrate a variety of sensors, including strain gauges, accelerometers, thermistors, and voltage universal inputs. Additionally, they support multiple sampling modes such as time-synchronized sampling, high-speed burst sampling, low duty cycle sampling, and data logging, all of which can be easily configured via software. ◆Wireless Gateway Functions as the central hub of the wireless sensor network, managing communication between remote wireless sensor nodes and end-user systems. A single gateway can monitor and operate up to 127 nodes, and it is possible to schedule time-synchronized sampling. Furthermore, it can connect to various environments, including local computers, third-party controllers, standalone data loggers, and cloud-based monitoring systems.
