Unicast stream & Auracast broadcast audio labCORE extension
Bluetooth Low Energy extends the communication topology of Bluetooth signals, expanding voice transmission, audio streaming, and broadcasting capabilities. This enables two-way audio transmission, one-way audio streaming, or broadcasting via Bluetooth LE Audio. These features are specified in the top-level profiles, namely the Telephone and Media Audio Profile (TMAP) and the Public Broadcast Profile (PBP). In practice, use cases such as making phone calls, listening to music, and receiving broadcasts are realized on a single device applying the LC3 audio codec. The adoption of Unicast and Auracast broadcast audio via Bluetooth Low Energy, combined with HEAD acoustics' measurement technology, can optimize and enhance the audio signal quality of devices applicable to TMAP and PBP.
