[Seminar] Basic Knowledge of Stainless Steel, Selection Methods, and Usage

An overview of the environments and forms in which stainless steel corrodes, as well as testing methods!

We will hold a seminar titled "Basic Knowledge of Stainless Steel, Selection Methods and Usage, and Corrosion Prevention" to prevent corrosion accidents and troubles before they occur. The seminar will systematically explain fundamental material properties, considerations for selecting steel types, differences in corrosion forms and their mechanisms, as well as common issues in the field such as corrosion in welded areas, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Additionally, participants will learn about the selection of corrosion-resistant materials and points for investigating corrosion causes, which are useful in various practical applications such as factory equipment, food manufacturing, chemical plants, and equipment design, through case studies.
