We would like to introduce a case where "multitasking machines" and "6-axis articulated robots" were implemented to establish a high-precision, low-cost production system for precision gears for aircraft, utilizing the manufacturing subsidy. To further expand orders in the aircraft industry, the introduction was prompted by the challenges of high-precision processing, shortening lead times, and low-cost production. As a result of the implementation, precision improved from JIS Grade 4 to JIS Grade 2. Lead time was reduced from 12.5 days to 5 days, and production costs were decreased to about one-third.
