No-Tride is a protective coating agent used to prevent localized nitriding in an ammonia atmosphere. It is not pre-mixed; the pigment and vehicle are packaged separately and must be mixed in an appropriate ratio before use. Due to the heavy specific gravity of the pigment, it will settle if left mixed, so only the amount needed for use should be combined. When using a spray gun, shake the container of the mixture well. For large containers, it is recommended to equip a stirrer. Dipping method is also possible, but generally not recommended due to difficulties in achieving uniform application. At normal nitriding temperatures and heating times, nitrogen penetration can be sufficiently prevented with a single application.
