From low-temperature storage of samples to inspection and packaging! Automation of a wide range of processes in collaboration with robotic arms.
We would like to introduce a case where our "Lab Stokka Bucket Type" was implemented at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). At the Biotechnology Center in Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture, samples including biological genetic resources such as bacteria, molds, and yeasts are collected, preserved, and provided to research institutions and companies. This automation system has been operational since April 2024. The Lab Stokka, which automatically stores samples in a 4°C environment, along with two robotic arms and a conveyor, operates autonomously from the shipping to the pre-inspection processes. [Case Overview] ■ Items handled: Tubes ■ Operations: Storage, picking, transportation ■ Supplied product: Lab Stokka Bucket Type *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
