This is an introduction to the case where our "LiniSort S-E," "QuickSort," and "Shutter Assort System" were implemented at the Fukui Center of Hamakyorex Co., Ltd. At this center, which handles apparel mail order, picking and shipping were previously done using an island picking method with 12 people as one unit, but there were waiting times during the switching process. After the implementation, it became possible to pick orders for 240 people as one unit, significantly reducing waiting times and also greatly decreasing the number of switching occurrences for shipping.
