However, did you know that there is not just one type of barcode, but over 100 different types of barcodes exist in the world? Barcodes are broadly classified into two types: "one-dimensional barcodes," which combine black lines (bars) and white spaces to encode numbers and letters, and "two-dimensional codes," which embed information in a grid pattern both vertically and horizontally.
