Reviewing the processing method reduces costs by one-third. We will support you until mass production.
We received an inquiry from a customer asking if it was possible to manufacture an integrated part that was being processed on a machining center using an NC lathe. The material is SUS304, and due to the deep cutting area of the inner diameter, there were challenges such as long processing times and high costs, making it unsuitable for mass production with machining center processing. In transitioning to an NC lathe, we organized the challenges, including material distortion during processing and selecting cutting tools that would not break even with deep cuts. Through trial and error, including changes to the cutting method and cutting tools, we established a new processing method. As a result, we were able to reduce costs to about one-third and make mass production possible.

basic information
Subject: VE/VA proposal due to changes in processing methods (conversion from MC to NC lathe, etc.) Material example: SUS304 (difficult-to-cut material) Issue example: The inner diameter cutting section is deep, resulting in increased man-hours, high costs, and unsuitability for mass production. Consideration items: Measures against material distortion, selection of cutting tools that do not break during deep hole/inner diameter processing, optimization of cutting methods (changes in cutting methods and tools, etc.) Result example: Cost reduced to about one-third, suitable for mass production.
Price information
Price: Estimates will be provided based on the proposal details, target parts, and evaluation frequency. Please consult us from prototype evaluation to mass production startup.

Applications/Examples of results
Parts with cost and mass production challenges due to MC processing / Review of processing methods for integrated parts / Parts involving difficult-to-cut materials (e.g., SUS304) or deep internal diameter cutting. We will review processes, tools, and processing conditions to support cost reduction and mass production.
Company information
Sankyo Intec, based in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture, is a proposal-based manufacturing company that upholds the philosophy of "customer excitement" and deeply digests the essence of our customers' "troubles" to materialize solutions. With three pillars: "Equipment Business," "Processing Business," and "System Business," we have established a system that can consistently provide essential processes for manufacturing, from design development to parts processing, equipment creation, and IT system construction. In the Equipment Business, in addition to our main product, noise filters, we also respond to ODM and OEM contracts utilizing the technology we have cultivated over many years. By taking on everything from design to circuit board assembly and final assembly, we strongly support our customers' product development. In the Processing Business, we offer high-precision machining, while in the System Business, we provide IT solutions that support digital transformation in the field, presenting multifaceted solutions that integrate expertise from various areas. By merging "logical analysis and proposals" from an IT and theoretical perspective with a sincere "manufacturing spirit" rooted in the community, we will harness the collective wisdom of all employees to create added value that exceeds expectations. We look forward to your continued support and guidance.
