The VAD-SD002G.L2.TRC transmits a single Ethernet line (10/100/1000M) over fiber optics up to 20 km away. This transmission device has a 2-port switching hub function, allowing it to connect two network devices. - It transmits a single 10/100/1000M Ethernet line over two fiber optic cables for long-distance transmission. - It can transmit up to 1 km in multi-mode and up to 20 km in single-mode. - It has a built-in Ethernet switch function (2 ports) that allows for the connection of two LAN cables. *Cables connected to the RJ45 are treated as part of the same network, enabling communication between connected devices. (The two lines cannot be treated as independent networks.) - It operates on DC 9-12V (power adapter included). - When installing multiple units, a separately sold 19-inch rack mount chassis can be used for consolidated installation. *Two VAD-SD002G.L2.TRC units are used at both ends of the fiber optic cable. *Sales are in single unit increments, but two units are required for opposing use.
